There can only be one you, there WILL be only one you. So why not be unique? Why not be different? This is what will make you stand out, and if some people don't like it... you know haters gonna hate so SCREW THEM!!! ( FYI I mean this in the most positive way ever, so if your an asshole then please conceal that shit haha)

Personal Branding

Your brand is your reputation. It’s your calling card. It’s what you’re known for and how people experience you. It’s about bringing who you are to what you do and how you do it. Delivering your brand clearly and consistently will create a memorable experience in the minds of those you interact with and can open doors to new opportunities. Yes indeed, that is very true! According to a Nielson Consumer Survey, only 33 percent of buyers trust messages from a brand, while 90 percent trust messages from an individual they know. That means that if you're a business owner, you have a much better chance of winning people's trust if you bond with them first as a human being and encourage your employees to do the same.

Build your online presence

Always make sure that in social media or any where online you are presented in a matter that you are not embarrassed of. No drunk pictures or silly things that will make you loose your credibility as a person. Do you know how you're appearing and coming across online? This is something you're going to want to monitor on an ongoing basis, and improve upon whenever and wherever possible. Do you have social media profiles? If so, are they fully fleshed out with all of your information? Do they present you in the best light possible, and make you look professional? Are you using high-quality professional photography? Are you interacting with others and sharing their content? All these are things to consider and to keep in mind when you are trying to build your personal brand online.

Personal branding is an ongoing process, it's about about creating a certain image, a reputation for yourself. On Monday we had a lecture about this subject, by the amazing Anna Ikonen. She had mentioned an interesting point that stuck out to me. "If your name is your BRAND, the your face is your LOGO". Who you are online is who you are in real life. If google cant find you, it is almost like you don't exist. Be public, be open minded and share! How can people otherwise know about you? This of course does not mean share everything online, but things people may value. For instance, this blog we write weekly. We are writing about our experiences, how we feel and sharing our stories and point of views. It doesn't have to be personal information at all. By all means be discreet about your personal life, I know I am! But always remember to make a good impression, because this is a one time thing. And it its pretty hard to bounce back from a bad first impression, don't forget as Jeff Bezos has said

Make the most of your 5-7 seconds guys!

How many words can a human even read in that amount of seconds? Not many. So you’d better be brief and GREAT!

Here's a lil something something about me... ENJOOOOY :)
